Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery status (ELD compliance).
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
