Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) on regional routes throughout Georgia
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Document all deliveries and maintain digital records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
- Commitment to safety and professional conduct
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging
