Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over long distances
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Represent the company professionally with all clients
- Support freight loading/unloading operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for irregular schedules and overnight stays
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
