Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere strictly to HAZMAT, FMCSA, and company safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes to meet tight deadlines and maximize fuel efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Resolve delivery exceptions and document all incidents promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean 3-year MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with California routes
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
