Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Represent TransPro Logistics with professional conduct at all customer interactions
- Collaborate with maintenance team for preventative vehicle care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong navigation skills and regional route knowledge (NY metro area preferred)
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Team player with excellent communication skills
