Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and deliver freight across North Carolina
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route execution
- Load/unload freight with appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklift)
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse staff
- Adhere to all safety protocols and HOS regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekend work
