Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across designated routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and perform daily vehicle inspections
- Efficiently load/unload freight using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch for route optimization and schedule adherence
- Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries and fuel transactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with Arizona/Mexico border crossing procedures (if applicable)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Strong time management and route planning abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
- Must be 23+ years old with hazmat endorsement (preferred)
