Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently on multi-state routes
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with precision using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks
- Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of over-the-road driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (certification a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
