Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight across Michigan and surrounding states
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure safe, on-time delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading when required (no-touch freight available)
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally and pass DOT physical
- Strong knowledge of Michigan roadways and regional geography
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic smartphone technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
