Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery within Seattle and surrounding areas
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and potential issues
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with federal and state requirements
- Represent Pacific Fleet Logistics professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington State traffic laws and Seattle metro routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
