Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul routes across the Midwest
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and real-time updates
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment and safety procedures
- Document all delivery paperwork and maintain digital records via fleet management system
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Strong time management skills and commitment on-time delivery performance
- Must pass comprehensive background check and motor vehicle report (MVR)
