Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with Tampa metro area and Florida highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts
