Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local/regional routes within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT safety regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all traffic laws
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic computer skills for logging systems and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
