Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Illinois and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and customer satisfaction
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures with precision
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Illinois traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
