Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery in mountainous terrain
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills for mountainous routes
- Flexibility for overnight trips (1-2 nights/week)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
