Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport freight across regional routes
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate effectively with dispatch
- Ensure cargo security and maintain proper documentation (bills of lading)
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A preferred) with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and route planning
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
