Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on regional routes within Texas
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining pristine delivery records
- Operate in all weather conditions while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb into trailer beds
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
