Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within Los Angeles County
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate driving logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Load/unload freight using forklifts when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Uphold company safety standards and zero-accident record
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with LA traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility for early morning start times (3-5 AM)
- Basic forklift certification preferred
