Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes (500-800 miles/day)
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and adhere to HOS regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for on-time deliveries and route optimization
- Represent Pacific Coast Logistics with professional customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Current medical card and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Proficiency with ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Pass background check and drug screening
