Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional dry van freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation via electronic logging system
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Represent Desert Star Logistics professionally at all client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Nevada/California highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
