Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metro area
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Excellent time management and communication skills
