Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Transport freight across the Southeastern US with on-time delivery performance
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and resolve delivery challenges
- Ensure proper cargo securement and documentation for all shipments
- Represent our company professionally through exceptional customer service
- Participate in regular safety training and equipment maintenance protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team coordination
- Flexibility for overnight routes and weekend availability
- Knowledge of hazardous materials endorsement preferred
