Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) as assigned
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while maintaining delivery timelines and customer satisfaction
- Document trip logs, vehicle reports, and delivery paperwork accurately
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and problem resolution
- Represent the company professionally with clients and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability focus
- Flexibility for regional routes, overnight stays, and weekend shifts
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
