Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and integrity of the cargo and vehicle.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and digital paperwork in compliance with company and DOT standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with dispatch and customers at delivery sites.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route plans to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Saturday and Sunday shifts).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading and unloading processes.
- Strong knowledge of road conditions and navigation within the Portland metropolitan area.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
