Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain precise delivery schedules and communicate delays proactively
- Operate in all weather conditions while prioritizing road safety
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas roadways and delivery regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical capability for loading/unloading 50+ lb freight
- Flexibility for occasional overtime during peak seasons
- Experience with electronic logging systems preferred
