Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for regional routes between Philadelphia, PA and Illinois
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon)
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and Illinois highways
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
