Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery activities
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions and deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo as required (no-touch freight available)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedules (Friday-Sunday)
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
