Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend local and regional deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques per DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic record-keeping (ELD compliance)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for on-time weekend delivery coordination
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and Philadelphia traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card (if required)
- Proven experience in weekend shift logistics and time-sensitive deliveries
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
