Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across Philadelphia metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with precision and attention to safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries while adhering to delivery windows
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route conditions or delays
- Represent our company with professionalism during all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and cargo securement
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside troubleshooting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
