Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Nashville metropolitan routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage delivery timelines while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Document logs, cargo manifests, and delivery confirmations accurately
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and problem resolution
- Maintain clean driving record and zero safety violations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Nashville metro routes and regional highways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to handle occasional overtime during peak seasons
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
