Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance
- Accurately maintain delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delays
- Operate in all weather conditions while prioritizing safety
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) with occasional weekdays
