Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adapt to dynamic route changes while maintaining delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Philadelphia area geography and traffic patterns
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
