Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for regional and local routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and report all incidents immediately
- Support warehouse operations when not on assigned routes
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedule (Fri-Sun)
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with Columbus metro area and surrounding routes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
