Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely over regional routes throughout Virginia and North Carolina
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Virginia/North Carolina routes preferred
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
