Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on a weekly schedule.
- Load and unload cargo using proper forklifts, pallet jacks, and tie-down equipment.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be willing to work weekends (Friday - Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Basic English reading and communication skills.
- Availability to start immediately.
