Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) logs and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license required (with proper endorsements).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (Friday - Sunday).
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
