Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% DOT compliance.
- Safely transport freight to designated delivery points in and around Tucson.
- Secure cargo properly and perform daily load checks.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict accordance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status, traffic conditions, and any delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record with no more than two preventable accidents in the last three years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience with flatbed, reefer, or dry van freight is a plus.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
