Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Louisiana and neighboring states
- Maintain meticulous logs and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Deliver freight on time while prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery challenges
- Represent Delta Transport Solutions professionally at all client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
