Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Accurately complete pre-trip inspections and documentation
- Maintain clean driving record and exceptional customer service standards
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure cargo loading/unloading procedures
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in good standing
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and Oregon highway systems
- Excellent time management and communication skills
