Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend deliveries within Ohio and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
- Load/unload freight with precision using specialized equipment when required
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Manage time-sensitive routes while ensuring on-time performance
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS guidelines
- Strong navigation skills using GPS technology
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts with occasional holidays)
