Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for weekend deliveries and freight transport
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle specialized freight with care, including temperature-controlled loads
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Complete required documentation and paperwork for each shipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (company-provided)
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and regional routes
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication skills
