Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying manifests and handling documentation.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
- Ensure the truck cab and trailer remain clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card and medical certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills for logging duties.
