Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers within all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during delivery stops.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred for weekend role).
- Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays as required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for logging and documentation.
