Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods within San Jose Bay Area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and route optimization
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain vehicle inspection logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Support inventory management and warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (MVR required)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Jose metro area and surrounding routes
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
