Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes within the San Antonio metropolitan area and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using proper equipment and techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure full compliance with electronic logging device (ELD) regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and receivers, ensuring accurate delivery of goods.
- Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and driving for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
