Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local and regional routes within San Antonio metro area
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely weekend deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with San Antonio geography
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work independently with remote supervision
