Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/reefer) for weekend deliveries across Raleigh metro and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records per DOT regulations
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of freight and verify shipment documentation
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions with professionalism in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) with flexibility for occasional weekdays
- Pass background check and drug screening
