Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo in a timely manner using proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Commercial Class A preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR acceptable with no major violations).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card).
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Physically fit to perform heavy lifting, standing, and long hours of driving.
