Job Summary
As a CDL Driver on our weekend team, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently across the United States. We value safety, reliability, and customer service above all else.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving time and hours of service (HOS) using ELD technology.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
