Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all DOT and company regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documents.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Practice defensive driving techniques at all times to minimize risk.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety protocols, and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and communication.
